Frequently Asked Questions

Once you decide on your wedding date, email us on beautyatelierirl@gmail.com with your requirements. Please include all relevant information such as if you require hair or makeup services or both, the location of your wedding, if you are getting ready at home or the hotel and what time your ceremony is. After that, we can create a bespoke package tailored to your needs and we can send you a payment link for a deposit to secure your date. All deposits are non refundable.

We do cater to clients who wish to have us call out to their home for special events e.g. communions, confirmations and christenings if they are located within Limerick City. 

Yes we do travel all around Ireland for weddings. If a wedding is within Limerick County, there will be no travel costs. If the wedding is outside of Limerick, we do charge a fee for travel. When asking for a quote, please let us know where your wedding will take place and we can give you a price which will include travel costs.

When contacting us, please let us know if you would like a specific artist for hair or makeup and we will try our best to accommodate you. If that artist is not available, we will let you know and suggest another one of our bridal specialists.

The night before your wedding, we would advise brides to follow their usual skincare routine and not to add/remove anything new. We would advise you to stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep to help your skin look amazing for your big day.

If you are having an upstyle, the night before your wedding, we would advise brides to wash their hair twice with a good shampoo and no conditioner. Please ensure your hair is fully dry before going to bed. if the hair is any way damp it can cause frizz. 

As part of all makeup applications, individual or strip lashes are included.

We would ask brides to let us know the final numbers 4 weeks before their wedding. This is to avoid any extra charges if numbers change closer to the date.

If you have any skin allergies or sensitivities, we would ask you to let us know so we can discuss what we can use so that we have our makeup kit stocked appropriately. You are also welcome to have us use any specific products that you have that you can't live without!!

To secure your wedding date, you will need to pay a small deposit. This is €100 for makeup or hair services or €200 for hair and makeup services. This can be paid via a secure payment link that we will email to you, or it can be paid via bank transfer. The deposit is non refundable payment and if your deposit has not been paid, your date will not be confirmed and may be given to another bride.

In the case of illness with an artist or hair stylist, we will provide an alternative artist who works with Beauty Atelier. We will contact the bride if this occurs to let them know what is happening and what artist/hair stylist we will be bringing with us on the wedding morning. If you have already had a trial with the unavailable artist/hair stylist, a supplementary trial will be offered free of charge, subject to availability.
